Navdip Dhariwal

Senior Producer

Navdip is a former BBC World Affairs Correspondent and has reported on major news stories across the globe, covering some of the most important stories of our times, including the Asian tsunami, the war in Afghanistan, the 7/7 London bombings, the death of Nelson Mandela and the Assassination of Benazir Bhutto.

Her own experience and challenges have driven her to campaign for storytelling that is genuinely diverse, inclusive and relevant. Navdip is an Asian Woman of achievement and a former Prince’s Trust Ambassador.

Dan McDougall

Creative Director

Dan McDougall is a four time Amnesty International Awards winner for Human Rights Reporting and British Foreign Correspondent of the Year. He is the winner of best director award at the Barcelona Film Festival and has won prizes for the best short film at Independent Film Festivals.

A writer and presenter for The Guardian and BBC Panorama, Dan was The Sunday Times of London Africa Correspondent. He is a Martha Gellhorn Prize Nominee and visiting lecturer at The University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability.

Nina Ross


Nina is a documentary filmmaker and producer. Her films have been broadcast on the BBC and screened internationally at many acclaimed film festivals, picking up awards throughout. She has worked as a researcher across the TV and film industry, covering projects for the BBC, Discovery International and independent cinema.

Tarien Roux


After completing degrees in journalism, documentary film, and a masters in social anthropology, Tarien returned to these story-telling roots when she joined as COO. She cut her teeth working for NGOs and corporations focused on sustainability and education for more than a decade. She has further honed her logistical skills for clients like Google and GE.

Dewald Brand

Over the past few years, South African born Dewald has filmed in over 35 different countries for clients such as Nike, Red Bull, Tag Heuer, The Guardian, Uber, Maersk, Oxfam. His work has been showcased on TV, published in magazines, displayed in museums, for advertising as well as online.

Rowan Kerek Robertson

Digital Strategist

Rowan is the former Head of Social Media for BBC TV and is a digital media expert with over 20 years’ experience. She is an expert in social media strategy, production of creative content, policy and workflow planning and is adapt at carrying out audits, research and social listening.

Carol Howell

Video Editor

Carol is a versatile editor passionate about storytelling across diverse genres. Experienced in TV, film, and documentaries for global US based networks, she is also on the board of the South African Editors Guild. ​She ​enjoys exploring new cities ​and takes inspiration from all forms of art and culture.

Luke Pallett

Camera Director

Luke is an accomplished self-shooting director with 15 years of experience in the documentary and branded non-fiction space. Along with an extensive technical ability, he prides himself in putting story before style, using his unique eye to piece together a scene. Optimistic, creative, and a pleasure to work with.
